Lessons at Solo Guitar Studio
Private guitar lessons in Redmond and Seattle include a progressive blend of popular music and student-chosen songs. Theory, solo arranging, and songwriting exercises are designed to impart musical understanding and stimulate creativity. Students learn both pick and fingerpicking playing styles with recitals adding an additional level of challenge, engagement, and reward.
Studio lessons are $40 per half-hour session and $70 per hour session.
Solo Guitar Studio's lead instructor, Ken Elia, earned his Bachelor of Arts in music at the University of North Dakota, studying pop, rock, jazz, and classical music. His live experience includes ensembles and solo performances at Seattle Classic Guitar Society showcases, local venues, and weddings.
